Easy way to make chili using canned beans and optional garden veggies!

Ingredients
15 oz (1 can) diced tomatoes
60 oz (4 cans) variety of beans, rinsed and drained (kidney, cannellini, etc)
chili powder, to taste (~1 Tbsp)
cumin, to taste (~1 tsp)
salt & pepper, to taste
Optional Ingredients
diced chili or bell peppers, sauteed
diced onions, sauteed
minced garlic, sauteed
1/2 lb ground meat, cooked

If using fresh veggies or ground meat, saute them.

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot.

Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, any other seasonings to taste (people also swear by Worcestershire sauce and mustard!).

Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.

The ingredients can be added to a slow cooker and heated instead.
