Creamy Salsa Chicken

Popular shredded chicken recipe for the slow cooker (adapted from Sparkrecipes.com) or Instant Pot (adapted from https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/260193/instant-pot-salsa-chicken)

Ingredients
 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (can be frozen)
 1 cup salsa
 1 packet taco seasoning
 1 can condensed cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
 ½ cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
 ½ cup broth or water (for Instant Pot recipe only - may be optional)
Preparation

Add chicken to slow cooker/instant pot.

Sprinkle taco seasoning on all sides of chicken.

Pour salsa and soup over chicken.

Place lid on the pot and lock in place. Select the Poultry setting and set the timer for 15 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally after the cooking time has ended, about 20 minutes.

Crock Pot Directions

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream
Serve with rice. Makes 6 servings.
