Bisquick Apple Cobbler

Delicious homemade apple cobbler using Bisquick. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an old-timey treat!

Ingredients
 1 ½ cups Bisquick baking mix (You can use gluten-free mix too!)
  cup white sugar
 ½ cup milk
 ¾ cup packed brown sugar
 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 ½ tsp ground nutmeg
 2 large apples, chopped (We used Pink Lady apples!)
 1 cup boiling water
Directions

Combine baking mix and sugar; add in the milk and mix well.

Pour into the bottom of a greased 9×9 pan.

Top batter with chopped apples; do not stir.

Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together and sprinkle evenly over the apples.

Pour the hot water over the top of the mixture; do not stir.

Bake at 350 F for 1 hour, then let cool.
